Steve Cook’s Secret 2000AD Cover Archives
Marvel have recently moved a number of their titles to “self cover”, where the cover is part if the print tun of the rest of the comic, on the same paper, cut together and bound from the same paper sheet, rather than being from a different, thicker, glossier paper stock. Of course that’s what all British comics used to be printed on. Newsprint, including the covers. Which didn’t make for the best reproduction, especually the colour covers.
